About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Special Education Behavioral Analyst to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to students with challenging behaviors.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $40-$50+/hour, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

Apart from working with students, you will also provide training and support to school staff members on implementing behavior intervention plans, ensuring consistent interventions across environments. Your expertise in conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) will help create positive outcomes for students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FBA's to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students
  • Develop BIP's based on FBA findings using evidence-based strategies
  • Train and support staff members on effective implementation of BIP's
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of BIP's through systematic data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure student needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings to contribute valuable input on goal development related to behavior management
  • Stay up-to-date on latest research and best practices in behavior analysis and share knowledge with school staff

Qualifications:

  • Hold valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting preferred but not required
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school personnel, parents, and community agencies
  • Display strong knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to special education and behavior management in schools
