Concessions Barback

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Concessions Barback to join our team at the BOK Center. As a Concessions Barback, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with our team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our concession stands.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the overall successful operation of the concession stands
• Take direction from our managers or supervisors for prep-day and event-day responsibilities
• Participate in pre-shift huddles to ensure a smooth start to the event
• Support a hospitable environment by greeting guests throughout the arena
• Verify and transport hot boxes and speed racks from/to the kitchen and pantry
• Distribute food and beverage products from the pantry or kitchen to the correct locations
• Provide quick and attentive follow-up for any delivery issues
• Assist with keeping the pantry inventory in order and keeping the pantry clean throughout the day
• Retrieve service ware to and from catering, club, and suites locations to the kitchen as directed
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned
• Assist with the breakdown of assigned locations at the end of the event
• Thoroughly clean and assist with the breakdown of the pantries and storage spaces at the end of the day
• Check out with the supervisor at the end of the day and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior job experience is preferred, but not required
• Prior food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work as part of a team with all associates, management, and stadium departments
• Excellent guest service skills, ability to adhere to Service Standards
• Ability to complete all required training sessions
• Ability to work accurately, courteously, and with a sense of urgency in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds; ability to pull/push up to 100 pounds

Benefits:

• Hourly wage of $10 to $12.00 plus tips
• 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching
• Accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year
