Radiation Therapist Opportunity in Detroit

About the Role
\rRadiation therapists play a critical role in cancer treatment, using various techniques to deliver precise doses of radiation to tumors. In this position, you will work closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive optimal care.
\rKey Responsibilities

- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols\
- Conduct regular assessments to ensure accurate dose delivery and minimize side effects\
- Collaborate with oncologists and radiologists to develop personalized treatment plans\
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process\
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams\
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advances in radiation therapy\
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure optimal machine performance\
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals\
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management\\/ul>\r
Required Qualifications

- Appropriate licensure within the state\
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)\
- 1+ year of applicable experience in radiation therapy or a related field\\/ul>\r
Salary and Benefits
\rThis exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $64.71 - $64.71 per hour, based on 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additional benefits include:
