The Seasonal Bird Zookeeper contributes to a positive experience for zoo guests by ensuring safety and assisting visitors at the Ark Encounter's Ararat Ridge Zoo. This role requires enthusiasm, energy, and a passion for serving others.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor contact areas in the zoo to ensure safety and provide assistance to guests.
- Assist with general animal husbandry tasks, including cleaning and diet preparation under the guidance of section keepers.
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests while staff contact areas throughout the zoo.
- Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regularly attend a local Bible-believing church.
- Have a minimum of one year of work in an animal care environment or be pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in zoology or a related field.
