Position Overview:

The Site Superintendent will oversee and coordinate all concrete operations at various job sites, managing foremen, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion, and upholding quality and safety standards. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all job site activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and their representatives
  • Addressing conflicts and disputes to prevent delays and claims
  • Guiding field personnel on essential project processes and policies
  • Planning and managing field operations, including construction methods, workforce, material needs, equipment, and timelines


Essential Duties:
  • Collaborating with office personnel on production rates, construction techniques, and schedules
  • Engaging in regular meetings with local office staff
  • Continuously enhancing knowledge of industry best practices and innovations
  • Resolving issues as they arise using available resources
  • Understanding and implementing the company's labor relations policies
  • Communicating and promoting the company's commitment to integrity and ethical standards among the team
  • Performing other relevant tasks as assigned


Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in concrete or heavy civil construction. Candidates should be creative, results-driven, and possess a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation. Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets, is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are required to foster positive teamwork.
