Position Overview

The Pastry Specialist is primarily tasked with crafting donuts and other baked goods in accordance with Dunkin's operational standards and franchisee guidelines. This role also involves maintaining a tidy, safe, and organized workspace. The specialist adheres to donut finishing protocols, which encompass product assembly, icing application, topping drizzles, fillings, and ensuring food safety while cleaning all tools utilized in the baking process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to brand standards, recipes, and operational procedures

• Ensure that finishing equipment is properly set up and calibrated

• Monitor icing temperatures for quality control

• Strictly follow allergen handling and basketing protocols

• Maintain and update finishing schedules to guarantee order accuracy

• Identify and report any product quality concerns

• Meet production targets consistently

• Keep the workstation clean and organized

• Clean equipment and work areas regularly

• Foster a people-centric culture within the bakery

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

• Perform other roles as directed by management

Education and Experience:

• No formal education required

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Engage in repetitive motions including bending, stooping, and reaching

• Lift items such as boxes, baskets, and pails weighing up to 50 lbs (if applicable)

• Work in various areas (cross-trained)

• Adhere to strict uniform standards and Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements:
  • Availability to work after 5 PM
  • Willingness to work on weekends
  • Lincoln employees must possess a Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one
