As a Lead MRI Technologist at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our MRI department. Under general supervision, you will function as a lead or resource person for personnel involved in MRI procedures, performing duties as required and coordinating the flow of work.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and resolve routine and complex problems, ensuring the department operates safely and efficiently.
- Recommends personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines.
- Assist with monitoring performance improvement plans and scheduling of MRI technologists.
- Ensure compliance with laws, government regulations, JC requirements, and DMC policies.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required.
- Two or more years of progressively more responsible MRI Technologist work experience.
