Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Radiology team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team members in the delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Work closely with the RN or licensed healthcare team member to evaluate patient plans of care and progress toward goal attainment.
  • Support the development of patient care plans and participate in the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Participate in the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Technical Capabilities
  • Clinical Patient Documentation: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • LPN Patient Education: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • LPN Care Planning: Participates in the development of the plan of care in consultation with the licensed healthcare team.
  • Clinical Competency: Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate nursing interventions in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
