Job Title: Hot Chocolate Worker

Division/Department: Food and Beverage

Job Summary:

Work in a team to prepare, mix, and deliver hot chocolate to the Polar Express train before departure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Cambro's for hot chocolate mix.
  • Load train with mugs and tumblers before departure.
  • Preload van for next day's event.
  • Mix hot chocolate powder while following all sanitation and CDC policies.
  • Deliver finished hot chocolate mix to the appropriate train car for attendants to distribute.
  • Adhere to and maintain company service standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Complete daily cleaning and organization checklists.
  • Assist with the laundry services.
  • Maintain and exceed Health Department Regulations.
  • Other duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to be on your feet for up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. to waist or overhead.
  • Good balance/equilibrium: walk on graveled, uneven and/or sloped surfaces that may be wet/slippery.
  • Must possess organizational skills with ability to multi-task while prioritizing workload with practical, flexible and innovative approach to work.
  • Ability to communicate successfully with a variety of personalities and function effectively as a member of a team.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
  • Valid Driver License, preferred. Driver's record will be evaluated in accordance with company policy.

Work Environment:

  • Work in all weather during both daylight and dark hours.
  • Work with power drill, broom, and mop.
  • Varied schedule throughout the year dictated by train schedule and departmental need.
  • Weight belt to be worn for workplace safety.
  • Must dress in Chef Coat and Hat when delivering hot chocolate as part of the performance.

Salary Description:

$14-15 hourly
