Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital is a specialized 40-bed facility dedicated to inpatient rehabilitation, collaboratively operated by Ascension Saint Thomas and Lifepoint Health. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and determine individual needs
  • Recognize and implement suitable nursing interventions
  • Deliver age-appropriate care tailored to patient conditions
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical necessity
  • Oversee the development and updates of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Carry out prompt and precise Quality Improvement assessments
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state
  • Certification in CPR/BCLS; ACLS certification is preferred
  • CRRN certification is preferred
  • At least six months of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities
