Automotive Technician

About the Role:

At CarMax, we're seeking highly skilled Automotive Technicians to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring every vehicle that leaves our dealership is safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to solve technical problems and meet production deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer recommendations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• ASE certifications in multiple areas, including engine repair, brakes, and steering and suspension.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
