The successful candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions that meet the sponsors' requirements, working closely with the Fixed Income, Treasury and Credit business to gather and analyze user requirements. They will also be responsible for implementing, testing, releasing and maintaining/supporting the software solution in line with the agreed upon specifications.

The role requires a deep understanding of Summit, including products traded on Treasury, Credit business and Fixed Income (Repo and Bonds), as well as Summit STP services for Front Office and back office as cashflows, accounting, operations and settlements workflows. The candidate must also have experience with .Net Core development, including C#, ASP.Net (MVC, REST interfaces using Web API), ASP.Net Core, IIS, and be familiar with Visual Studio, C++, C#, Infragistics, XML, XSLT, Excel VBA, and client-side framework knowledge such as Angular and typescript.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to analyze complex problems, and provide solutions to problems. They will also be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment on multiple applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with/support the Fixed Income, Treasury and Credit business
  • Gather, understand and analyze user requirements
  • Implement, test, release and maintain/support the software solution in line with the agreed upon specifications
  • Troubleshoot applications, databases and processes as needed
  • Assist users to make the best use of the delivered technologies
  • Train users, colleagues and peers as needed
  • Provide guidance to more junior staff within the team
  • Take ownership of medium scale projects
  • Report comprehensive status to management on a regular basis
  • Write technical and functional documentation as needed
  • Continue to develop technical skills and learn new technologies as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5-year experience in implementation in the Finance industry
  • Deep knowledge of Summit, must be familiar with products traded on Treasury, Credit business and Fixed Income (Repo and Bonds) is preferred
  • Must be familiar with Summit STP services for Front Office and back office as cashflows, accounting, operations and settlements workflows
  • .Net Core development including C#, ASP.Net (MVC, REST interfaces using Web API), ASP.Net Core, IIS
  • Deep IT knowledge, the successful candidate must be able to review source code, write and execute SQL queries (Sybase, Oracle and SQL Server) and read/understand a script (Windows and Unix as Bash, Perl, Python)
  • Deep understanding of Summit metamodel is preferred
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio, C++, C#, Infragistics, XML, XSLT, Excel VBA
  • Client-side framework knowledge. Angular, and typescript
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, with strong attention to detail and ability to provide solutions to problems
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment on multiple applications
