Job SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Police Officer. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing assistance to the public. You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to build trust and foster positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce traffic laws and regulations.
- Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses and suspects.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents, fires, and medical emergencies.
- Provide assistance to the public, including directing traffic, providing information, and resolving disputes.
- Participate in community policing initiatives, such as neighborhood watch programs and youth outreach activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a State of California POST-approved Basic Police Academy required.
- Valid California Class C driver's license required.
- Ability to pass a physical agility test, background investigation, polygraph examination, and medical examination.
