Payroll Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Director to join our dynamic team in Altamonte Springs, FL. As a leading player in the construction industry, we require a detail-oriented and organized individual to oversee the smooth execution of our payroll functions.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll management role, preferably within the construction industry. They must possess extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as experience with multi-state payroll and bi-weekly payroll.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
• Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures
• Participate in decision-making processes regarding changes to payroll
• Administer benefits, commissions, and other payroll additions and deductions
• Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the payroll team
