The RN Nurse Manager Emergency Services is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and staffing of the Emergency Services department at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital. This leadership role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care is provided in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care to ensure quality and clinical outcomes meet facility objectives.
- Hold staff accountable for adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and dedicated team.
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Current Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
