Job Title:

Nurse Specialist for Student Care

Job Summary:

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to provide medical care and support to students in educational settings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in student-specific case management plans for acute and chronic health conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement students' medical plans as recommended by a medical doctor or medical agency.
  • Attend meetings with multidisciplinary teams to discuss services.
  • Meet with campus nurses to discuss student medical care and provide daily logs and documentation.
  • Follow District nursing standards for eligible students.
  • Complete documentation of services and submit prior to billing.
  • Provide own transport.
  • Other duties as assigned by administration.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.

Working Conditions:

The Nurse Specialist will work in a school setting, providing medical care and support to students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to work with students of a wide range of ages and ability levels.
