Career Opportunity for a Counselor

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a leading provider of addiction treatment services, is seeking a skilled Counselor to contribute to our mission of removing barriers to recovery and transforming lives.

About the Role

As a Counselor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the treatment of patients, ensuring their care is coordinated and continuous from admission to discharge. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote patient growth and well-being
  • Conducting assessments and placing patients in treatment phases to ensure optimal care
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient records to maintain high-quality care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to stay up-to-date with best practices
  • Staying current with federal, state, and agency regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree or higher in a related field, such as chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing
  • At least one year of counseling experience, with a strong focus on addiction treatment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive team culture
