Job Summary

Regency Hospitals is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapy Manager to oversee the rehabilitation services operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology and experience in supervisory roles.

The Rehabilitation Therapy Manager will be responsible for guiding and mentoring the rehab team, ensuring the plan of care for the patient population is followed, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality services.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to promote professional development, education, and competency of rehab staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing rehab services operations, including staff interviews, orientation, performance appraisals, and employee development.
  • Scheduling rehab therapy staff and ensuring the services provided are appropriate to the scope and level of care for the patients.
  • Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality and efficient service delivery.
  • Serving as a liaison between the Rehab Therapy department and the Chief Nursing Officer to further clinically develop staff, service, and/or rehab program.
  • Actively promoting professional development, education, and competency of rehab staff.

Requirements:

  • Current State licensure as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
