The Transportation Specialist will provide safe and reliable transportation for students, faculty, and staff to and from school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL with a passenger and school bus endorsement, experience driving large vehicles, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment for all passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive school buses safely and efficiently to and from school events and activities.
  • Conduct regular bus inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Assist with loading and unloading passengers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Transportation Team to discuss safety protocols, maintenance schedules, and other important topics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CDL with a passenger and school bus endorsement.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience driving large vehicles.
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
Working Conditions:

The Transportation Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often in inclement weather. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a variety of settings, including schools, athletic fields, and other community locations.
