Wallenius Wilhelmsen is on the lookout for a Heavy Machinery Technician to join our dynamic team at our equipment processing facility.

Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a variety of mechanical and technical systems.
- Execute work orders efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues for assembly purposes.
- Utilize an array of testing tools, hand tools, and measuring devices.
- Operate heavy construction machinery and forklifts.
- Assemble, repair, and test heavy machinery.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of mechanical and technical systems.
- Hands-on experience with gasoline and diesel engines and their components.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of 15 feet.
- Willingness to spend a full workday walking and/or standing.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to dust and fumes from machinery.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Steel-toed footwear is required.
