Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations, accurately tracking inventory, and contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
  • Accurately track inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
  • Stack and rotate merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
  • Replenish pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
  • Stage finished product in designated storage areas
  • Load and unload merchandise from trailers
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
  • Occasionally lift varying case weight, shape, and height levels
  • Operate a stand-up forklift with the ability to use the forks 35' in the air
Requirements
  • One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment
  • Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
  • Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others
  • Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities
  • Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures
