Job Summary:
American Lutheran Homes is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document all basic technical and emergency nursing skills, within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans.
- Document care delivery and conduct observations, medication, and treatments promptly and accurately.
- Assume charge nurse duties when designated, including adjusting assignments and schedules to best meet the needs of residents.
- Assess and document the health status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention.
- Make rounds with physicians and transcribe physician orders.
- Assist in developing, revising, and reviewing resident care plans.
- Evaluate staff observations and use equipment and supplies in a precise, accurate, and calm manner.
- Replace absent staff as necessary and maintain confidentiality.
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents, clients, co-workers, and the public.

Requirements:
- A valid RN license and current certification in CPR/BLS.
