Job SummaryThe Critical Care Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate patient status, and make decisions about patient care.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Critical Care Nurse in an ICU setting.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital or Level I Trauma center.
- Cerner experience.
- Previous charge experience.
