">Job Title: Senior Healthcare Facilities Operations Director (NC)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Senior Healthcare Facilities Operations Director for a bid proposal for a large healthcare government healthcare facilities near Fayetteville, NC. This role will oversee operations and maintenance (O&M), repair, minor construction, and sustainment contract for a large healthcare government healthcare facilities program. As the primary interface between the customer and the company, deliver exceptional site leadership, customer service, positive employee engagement, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements while meeting safety and quality performance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day onsite facilities management for a government medical treatment facility program up to 2 million square feet.
- Oversee diverse team of managers, supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Able to be on call 24/7/365 in response to facility emergencies.
- Ensure staff and subcontractors adhere to management plans and processes, including safety and quality requirements.
- Direct scheduling and completion of preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work.
- Coordinate closely with customer Facility Management points of contact in providing formal and ad hoc reports, scheduling services, sharing program status, and making best practice recommendations.
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with contract requirements, healthcare codes and regulations, budgets, and performance standards.
- Resolve conflicts, identified deficiencies, and issues following reporting and corrective action requirements.
- Maintain program documentation and records for The Joint Commission (TJC) requirements, contract deliverables and plans, training, staff certifications and licenses, and permits.
- Conduct staff training, safety briefings, and quality inspections.
- Provide subcontractor and vendor management, including performance reviews and necessary follow-up actions.
Qualifications:
- The candidate shall be technically qualified in the field of Healthcare Facilities Management and shall have at least ten (10) years' experience in medical/health care (bedded-inpatient) facility operations and maintenance, including two years of supervision of a diversified work force responsible for 24-hour (24/7/365) operations, maintenance, and repair of medical facility systems or
- shall have a Bachelor of Science Degree in one or more engineering disciplines and be registered as a Professional Engineer in the United States and have five (5) years' experience in medical/health care (bedded-inpatient) facility operations and maintenance including two years of supervision of a diversified work force responsible for 24-hour (24/7/365) operations, maintenance, and repair of medical facility systems.
- The individual should have formal training related to The Joint Commission (Environment of Care/Life Safety Code standards).
- The candidate shall also have working experience with NFPA, EPA, TJC, OSHA codes and standards.
- Candidate shall have at least 5 years' experience with TJC compliance as required for healthcare facilities.
- Experience with at least two (2) The Joint Commission (TJC) surveys.
- Experience using DMLSS CMMS is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Completion of OSHA 30 preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
