Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography exams and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and perform CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications in various medical specialties.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
- CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of CT hire date.
- Two years of experience as a registered radiology technologist.
- Prior Computed Tomography experience in a Trauma/Cardiac facility preferred.
- Venipuncture competent.
