Main Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive geotechnical assessments for renewable energy initiatives, which encompass soil analysis, site inspections, and evaluations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Prepare detailed engineering documentation, geotechnical designs, and project files.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and environmental consultants for seamless project delivery.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to offer expert geotechnical advice and recommendations.
- Oversee field operations and coordinate with subcontractors and laboratories for quality control.
- Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and assisting in proposal creation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Proficient in geotechnical software and tools with strong analytical capabilities.
