Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical assessments for renewable energy initiatives, which encompass soil analysis, site inspections, and evaluations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed engineering documentation, geotechnical designs, and project files.
  • Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and environmental consultants for seamless project delivery.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to offer expert geotechnical advice and recommendations.
  • Oversee field operations and coordinate with subcontractors and laboratories for quality control.
  • Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and assisting in proposal creation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois is required.
