Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel CT Technologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
  • Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a CT Technologist in the state of Kansas
  • 2+ years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of CT scanner operation and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
