Planetarium Director

Columbia Basin College (CBC) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Planetarium Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the planetarium, including developing educational materials, coordinating events, and promoting astronomy programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in astronomy or a related field, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

In addition to managing the planetarium, the successful candidate will also be responsible for promoting astronomy programs and outreach activities within the community. This includes working closely with local schools, organizations, and businesses to develop and implement engaging astronomy-related initiatives.
