Director of Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Community Partnerships to join Elizabethton City Schools. This is a full-time position based at Elizabethton High School, requiring occasional travel for site visits and meetings with partners.

About the Role:

• This individual will play a pivotal role in advancing experiential learning for students, with a focus on internships, work-based learning, and community-engaged learning.
• They will collaborate with internal stakeholders, community organizations, businesses, and postsecondary institutions to expand opportunities that prepare students for postsecondary success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Influence Key Staff for Engagement:
   1. Work closely with administrators, faculty, and community partners to advocate for and integrate internships, work-based learning, and community-engaged learning as core components of EHS's experiential learning strategy.
   2. Foster collaboration among school staff and community leaders to ensure these opportunities align with students' academic development and career readiness goals.
2. Community Partnership Advisory Group:
   1. Oversee the development and retention of the Community Partnership Advisory Group, a collaborative team of community members, business leaders, and school representatives.
   2. Facilitate regular meetings and ensure effective communication to share resources, ideas, and strategic initiatives that benefit students and the wider community.
3. Partnership Development:
   1. Cultivate and sustain partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders to create meaningful work-based learning and community-engaged learning opportunities.
   2. Collaborate with faculty to co-develop curricular pathways that align with Tennessee state standards and EHS learning goals.
4. Work-Based Learning Site Assessments:
