About the Role:



  • Job Summary: This position provides comprehensive nutrition services and education to dialysis patients and authorized caregivers in a clinical setting, supporting and maximizing the patient's nutritional well-being in a chronic-care facility for end-stage renal disease patients.
  • Responsibilities: Assess nutritional status, develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy, provide nutrition education and counseling, monitor nutritional status and laboratory values, and revise and update nutritional recommendations as needed.
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a similar area, Registered Dietitian status with Commission on Dietetic Registration, state licensure in Maryland or the state where the facility is located, and a minimum of two years' professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
