Job Title: CT Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 9-hour night shift schedule. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans, using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media, if applicable
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration
Requirements
  • 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
  • Licensure in most states
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
