Job Summary:

This is a challenging opportunity to lead a team of professionals in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects within the State of Kansas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Represent the State of Kansas in interactions with local governments, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for performance and behavior within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and counseling, and address disciplinary issues as needed.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for employee growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Professional Engineering License recognized by the Kansas Board of Technical Professions.
  • At least six years of experience in engineering, including one year of supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate required.
