Truck Operator and Maintenance Specialist

JCI Environmental is seeking an experienced Pump Truck Driver and Class A Driver to join our team. This role requires the ability to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations. About the Role
This position involves operating heavy equipment, including pump trucks, hoses, and other machinery. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL license and prior experience as a truck driver. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple pieces of equipment, including pump trucks and hoses
- Drive to customer locations to pump grease traps, septic tanks, and sewer systems
- Communicate with supervisors and field coordinators regarding issues that require attention
- Pump septic tanks and grease traps regularly, ensuring adherence to safety procedures
- Maintain detailed driving logs, including work periods, rest periods, and fuel expenses
- Comply with all company policies and driving laws
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Graduation certificate from trucking school (preferred)
- Familiarity with GPS systems and AVL technology
- Understanding of truck driving laws and regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
