Midtown Prep Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Midtown Athletic Club. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and artfully plating delicious meal options for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and store ingredients for use in recipes
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and handling ingredients
  • Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen areas to promote a safe and enjoyable member experience
  • Assist with periodic catering events
Requirements:
  • Passion for preparing and cooking delicious meals for others
  • Excellent professional references
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a safe and sanitary workspace
  • Current ServSafe certification (food handler & allergen) a plus
