Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computerized tomographic procedures to diagnose disease and injury, preparing patients and selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and monitoring protocols and recommending updates or refinements as warranted.
Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures to diagnose disease and injury, adhering to protocols established by radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
- Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following certifications: NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification, ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography, or CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
