Radiologic Technologist Part-time Benefits 1st Shift

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist, while applying principles of radiation safety and protection at all times.
- Consistently provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to the procedure and reviewing and verifying physicians' orders.
- Demonstrate appropriate and effective use of all radiographic equipment and computer systems, including RIS, PACS, Web viewer, ADW workstation, and other hospital-based computer or PC systems.
- Provide instruction to and assist in training new staff or student radiologic technologists.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
- NJDEP licensure required.
- CPR certification preferred.
