Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at MedAdventures. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide personalized education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, empowering them to maintain good oral health.
  • Perform comprehensive dental screenings and assessments to identify potential issues and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Take and develop high-quality dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to protect patients' teeth and prevent decay.
  • Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and equipment, upholding the highest standards of infection control.
  • Assist with front office duties as needed, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our practice.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensure is mandatory.
  • Dental License (DL) is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging and terminology is essential.
  • Experience with pediatric dental care is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
