Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our team at Sanmina-SCI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and a passion for improving battle-tested tactical voice and data communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software testing for existing products and introduce new test paradigms and automation to improve time-to-market for new features and releases.
  • Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, analyze and write test standards and procedures, and maintain documentation of test results.
  • Consult with development engineers to resolve problems and improve current manual tests for efficiency and automate tests.
  • Review project specifications, recommend effective changes, and run tests to identify and analyze defects.
  • Work closely with development teams and contribute to every aspect of the software lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years' software testing experience, including testing in embedded software systems.
  • System or network administrator experience preferred.
  • Skilled in writing test procedures in a requirements-driven process.
  • Experience with military communication on equipment desired.
