Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility, including loading and unloading trucks and containers.
  • Scale Operations: Accurately weigh and record materials on the scale, ensuring accurate inventory and billing.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels, including receiving and processing materials.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals a plus.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
