MAP Systems Application Support Analyst

The City of New York's Information Technology Services (ITS) division is dedicated to supporting the daily, emergent, and long-term needs of the Department of Social Services (DSS). We are seeking a highly skilled MAP Systems Support Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the office of Client Base Enterprise Services to develop and enhance applications, including client eligibility and recertification systems, case management systems, housing systems, employment/work engagement services, revenue-producing computer matches, claiming systems, and personnel systems utilized by 5000+ users.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Ensuring the effective operation of MAP Systems through proactive issue identification and resolution.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance system performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
Requirements for this position include two years of full-time experience in a large-scale networked environment or two years of satisfactory data communications network experience working in a mainframe or multi-tiered computer environment. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory full-time experience are also acceptable qualifications. A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above requirements is also considered.
