Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team on a travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart rhythm disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in the performance of electrophysiology procedures
  • Operate and maintain electrophysiology equipment, including electrocardiogram machines and cardiac catheters
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
  • Document patient information and procedure results in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or a related field
  • Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician, such as the Certified Electrophysiology Technician (CET) credential
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
