Job Summary:

The Tennessee Board of Regents invites applications for nursing adjunct instructors to teach day and evening classes in various locations. This is a great opportunity to share your expertise and passion for nursing education with students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned courses for the nursing discipline in various locations, preparing course materials and evaluating student learning.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and success.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education, incorporating this knowledge into your teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum, aligning with the college's mission and goals.

Working Conditions:

This role requires a sedentary work environment, with occasional travel for college or program activities. Standard office settings with minimal environmental controls ensure a healthy and comfortable work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Nursing.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
