Tuscany Village Nursing Center is dedicated to providing exceptional long-term and rehabilitative care. We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:
As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility's infrastructure, equipment, and utilities are maintained to the highest standards, in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and staff.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs for critical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements as necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Supervise external vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Manage maintenance budgets effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly in fire and life safety.
  • Oversee exterior property maintenance, including landscaping and snow removal.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Experience in the long-term care or healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Life Safety Code requirements is advantageous.
  • Proficient in basic technology, including computer and mobile communication tools.
  • General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire safety.
  • Basic carpentry skills and hardware knowledge.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Graduation from a relevant technical or trade school is preferred.
