Essential Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited perfusion program, along with ABCP certification and BLS certification.
- Proficiency in operating various heart-lung machines, centrifugal pumps, implantable ventricular assist devices, ECMO, and anticoagulation monitoring systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of blood products, components, and plasma composition within the human body.
- Capability to learn and implement JCAHO, CDC, and AABB standards and protocols, as well as knowledge of sterile techniques in patient care delivery.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and the physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 350 lbs.
