Director of Community Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to join our team at CCMC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our community management operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Administration: Provide leadership and administration to the community, staff, and service contractors, with daily interaction with community residents and volunteers.
- Facilitation and Liaison: Facilitate orientation and training of the Board and committee members, as well as long-range planning and annual goal setting. Serve as liaison between the association and other entities, including the developer, builders, sub-associations, commercial parcels, club facilities, and schools or public facilities.
- Recruitment and Supervision: Responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, and mentoring employees to develop skills necessary to advance within the community and CCMC.
- Accountability and Compliance: Own the accountability for adhering to any applicable policies, procedures, state laws, and the CCMC management contract.
- Community Engagement: Serve the community by creating a variety of opportunities to promote and maintain a true sense of community.
- Financial Management: Manage the preparation of all annual budgets, reserve studies, and variance reports.
- Long-Range Planning: Facilitate long-range planning and annual goal setting.
- Project Execution: Lead the execution of board-approved projects.
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least seven years' experience in on-site large-scale community association management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, public administration, or a related field.
- Operational Background: Robust operational background and understanding of community financials.
- Customer Service: Ability to build relationships through the highest level of customer service, sophistication, and professionalism.
- Certifications: One or more nationally recognized certifications or designations, e.g., Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), MBA, or Master's degree.
- Leadership Skills: Effective leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of laws and guidelines governing the operation of community associations and governing documents.
- Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment.
- Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- CAM License: CAM license required upon hire in Florida and Georgia (within 90 days of hire in all other states).
