Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to residents on a daily basis. To excel in this role, you should have your state-certified nursing assistant certification and a nursing degree from a recognized CNA program.

Duties:
Provide outstanding patient care and support
Answer patient calls and determine the best course of action
Assist with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
Turn and reposition bedridden patients or residents to ensure their comfort and safety
Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure patients receive an appropriate diet
Obtain information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities
Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical or nursing staff
Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate, as requested by staff
Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine
Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms, to nurses

Qualifications:
Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
High School graduate or equivalent
Excellent personal hygiene
Health, Dental, and Vision insurance offered, PTO after 90 days
