About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team at ANDERSON HOWARD. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing bid packages and developing a pipeline of healthy work that feeds the business of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all facets of the bid process, including specific scope letters, blue sheets, and evaluations with adjustments for buy-outs, labor rates, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients related to bids.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project management, operations, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Lead the estimation/bid process on 1-2 projects from start to finish, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Mentor and lead junior estimators, delegating tasks to utilize resources effectively.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Proven experience with estimating projects valued at $5MM or above.
  • Proficiency in Accubid or similar estimation software, as well as LiveCount and Bluebeam.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
