About the Role

Amundsen Davis LLC is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, with a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or Physics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
  • Respond to U.S. Patent Office actions and direct non-U.S. associates in non-U.S. patent matters
  • Provide patent-related counseling, opinions, and agreements
  • Support patent litigation matters and matters involving the Patent Trial and Appeal Board
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution
  • Currently licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
  • Strong academic credentials and a solid work ethic
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills
