Job Overview

We are a well-funded, venture-backed startup in the DeFi space, seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team. Our company is a core contributor to a Solana liquidity aggregator and a mobile trading app used by over half a million users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop real-time backend services powering our production software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Work closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the crypto space.
  • Experience with at least one compiled language (Rust, C++, or C) and one backend development language (TypeScript, Python, Node, or similar).
  • Experience with the Solana ecosystem, including indexers, RPC nodes, validator nodes, wallet connectors, and wallets.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and frameworks, including TCP, UDP, WebSockets, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC.
  • Deep knowledge of Solana architecture, including leaders, shreds, transaction structures, and Jito bundles.
  • Excellent system and software design skills, including the ability to reason about technical tradeoffs.
Bonus Qualifications
