Job Title: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets.
  • Coordinate all audit activity and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process and administer financial plans.
  • Support the Executive Director in engaging the board's audit and finance committees.
  • Oversee financial, project/program, and grants accounting.
  • Manage organizational cash flow forecasting and collaborate with program directors.
  • Oversee payroll processes and manage invested assets.
Requirements:
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to TUTS mission.
  • Minimum of a BA; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Solid experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development, and analysis.
  • Track record in grants management and compliance.
  • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations.
  • Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, and retaining a diverse team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
